Nokia announced that it has signed a multi-year patent licensing agreement with HP regarding the use of Nokia’s video technology in HP devices. According to the agreement, HP will pay patent usage fees to Nokia. This agreement resolves all patent lawsuits between the parties in all jurisdictions. The terms of the agreement shall remain confidential as agreed by both parties.
“We are pleased to have reached an agreement with HP, which is a recognition of Nokia’s leadership in video and multimedia technology and our decades long investment in research and development,” said Arvin Patel, Chief Licensing Officer of Nokia.
