On June 4th, the 31st China International Information and Communication Exhibition was held in Beijing. Several new 5G data terminal products from ZTE, including 5G portable Wi Fi, ZTE F50, ZTE U50 Pro, and personal and home data terminals such as the Super 700M indoor 5G CPE and ZTE MC888S, have made their debut at this exhibition. The aim is to promote universal 5G data terminals with full scene, high-performance, and cost-effective products, providing users with a more intelligent and convenient 5G experience.
In the post 5G era, the further popularization of 5G networks has become an important issue. Although China’s 5G deployment is globally leading, fiber optic access to households has not yet been achieved in some remote and rural areas, as well as in urban areas such as short term and shared leases. At the same time, new digital economy scenarios such as outdoor live broadcast, tourism bloggers, Ridesharing company drivers, takeout, etc., put forward more demands for 5G flexibility, convenience, and high speed, providing a broad space for 5G mobile data terminals.
In order to improve the penetration rate of 5G and meet the new needs of the development of the digital economy, ZTE has provided a full range of 5G mobile data terminal products. At present, ZTE’s mobile internet business 5G products have established partnerships with nearly a hundred operators worldwide, with a cumulative shipment volume of over 3 million units. According to a report from international professional consulting firm TSR, ZTE’s 5G MBB&FWA market share ranked first globally in 2022.
The all-new 5G portable Wi Fi ZTE F50 on display this time features a super lightweight design that is only the size of a business card, helping consumers keep 5G communication capabilities in their bags at any time. The ZTE U50 Pro, released in April this year, also made its debut at this exhibition and underwent a 24-hour * 3-day battery life challenge. This product has a built-in 10000mAh super large battery, with a standby time of up to 7 days, and supports 18W reverse charging; Adopting the Wi Fi 6 standard, the peak speed can reach 3600Mbps and support up to 64 users accessing simultaneously.
The ZTE MC888S, a 5G indoor CPE product with international quality and national prices, has launched multi-channel transmission and reception technology for China Mobile and Radio and Television’s joint 700MHz network, achieving 4 * 4 MIMO functionality and significantly improving 5G coverage. It can provide high-speed 5G networks for users in suburban, rural, and remote areas. The product adopts the high-speed Wi Fi 6 standard, with a Wi Fi speed specification of 3000Mbp, and can connect up to 128 terminal devices simultaneously.

As a leading brand in the global 5GFWA&MBB market, ZTE has been committed to promoting the research and development iteration of mobile internet terminals, continuously upgrading the mobile internet experience with leading technological strength. Over the past decade, ZTE Communications has launched several FWA&MBB’s world’s first commercial products, including the first 5G FWA, the first 4G FWA that supports Wi Fi 6, and the first R16 FWA product. This year, ZTE FWA products have been updated to the fifth generation. The ZTE 5G FWA Gen 5 has a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port and adopts the Wi Fi 7 standard, leading the world in product technology.
In addition to consumer data terminals for individuals and families, ZTE Mobile Internet terminals also have two categories of products and solutions: customized data terminals for the industry, and vehicle mounted data terminals for the Vehicle-to-everything. Based on the thinking of future 5G data terminals, ZTE has launched a new design concept for GIS, namely Green, Intelligence, and Security, integrating greener, smarter, and safer concepts into the development of new products. The comprehensive energy consumption has decreased by another 10%, bringing users a better 5G experience.
