Recently, Silith Technology, Inc., a silicon optical chip company, launched its silicon optical full series high-speed optical interconnection solution at the OFC 2023 exhibition. The single wave 100G full series silicon optical products used in data centers can meet customers’ needs for high-speed interconnection and interworking at various distances. The distinctive fully integrated transceiver solution, the industry-leading on-chip integrated Passive Mux/Demux solution, and the ultra-high capacity linear optical engine solution have received widespread attention from participants.
Relying on its industry-leading high-performance, high-yield silicon optical chip design and process development capabilities, Silith Technology has launched a multi-channel transceiver integrated silicon optical product, combining ultra-low loss and large tolerance end coupler with unique patented technology, greatly reducing customer packaging difficulties and costs, and improving the competitiveness of customer products. Silith Technology demonstrated the eye charts and transmission performance of multiple products in real time on the spot, and also demonstrated its unique on-chip passive Mux/Demux chip product based on the silicon optical platform. This product can be integrated with Silith optical transceiver chips, effectively reducing customer coupling and packaging costs.
At the same time, Silith Technologies, in conjunction with Keysight Technologies, Inc., used the N1092D optical sampling oscilloscope and M8194A arbitrary waveform generator to display the 400G-FR4 and 800G-2XFR4 optical modules in real time.
For application scenarios such as artificial intelligence and machine learning that are sensitive to data transmission efficiency, power consumption, and latency, Silith Technology, in collaboration with its partners, has launched an ultra-high capacity Linear Optics Engine solution. This solution is based on the integrated silicon optical transceiver chip of Silith Technology, which is leading in the industry in terms of size, power consumption, cost, and other aspects. It can effectively solve the bottleneck in the demand for chip interconnection and inter board interconnection in the AI field.
In the future, Silith Technology will introduce silicon optical solutions that can be used in the next generation 51.2T switches based on CPO technology.
