Nokia announced a strategic partnership with Supermicro, a global leader in application optimization IT solutions, to assist cloud service providers, hyperscale data centers, enterprises, and communication service providers in deploying high-performance, AI oriented data center networks. By combining Supermicro’s advanced 800G Ethernet switching hardware with Nokia’s data center automation platform and network operating system, both parties will launch a fully integrated network solution designed specifically for AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud environments.
Driven by the surge in demand for AI and cloud workloads, data centers are facing a turning point. This joint solution integrates the Supermicro 800G Ethernet switching platform, Nokia Service Router Linux (SR Linux) Network Operating System (NOS), and Event Driven Automation (EDA) platform to automate the entire data center network lifecycle – from Day 0 design, Day 1 deployment to Day 2+daily operations. Users will receive a pre validated turnkey solution, which shortens deployment time, reduces operational costs, and improves overall efficiency.
