Nokia announced that its network technology and services helped Telia Denmark win the first place in network performance in independent driving tests in the four largest cities in the country, making it ahead of its competitors. These tests evaluated the quality of the country’s mobile wireless network coverage, and were conducted by umlaut, a consulting research and benchmark testing company of Accenture. Nokia provided Telia Denmark with the latest energy-efficient 5G AirScale product portfolio, as well as core network and hosting operation support, which strengthened Telia’s network performance and enabled the company to provide better service delivery results for customers.
Nokia is the exclusive supplier of 5G RAN (wireless access network) of the joint network TTN of Telenor and Telia in Denmark, covering more than 4300 sites and providing services to more than 3 million users nationwide. Nokia also provides its cloud packet core and register to provide advanced 5G services, as well as the flexibility, scale and performance of the network, so that Telia Denmark can meet the needs of customers.
