According to the financial report of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, Google’s cloud computing business revenue in the fourth quarter of last year was $5,541 billion, an increase of $1.41 billion from $3,331 million in the same period last year, an increase of 44% year-on-year.

Revenue increased significantly year-on-year, and the proportion of Google’s cloud computing business in Alphabet’s overall revenue also increased.

In the last quarter of 2020, Alphabet’s revenue was $56.898 billion, accounting for 6.7% of cloud computing business; in the fourth quarter of 2021, Alphabet’s revenue was $75,325 billion, and cloud computing business 55. The proportion of $4.1 billion is 7.36 percent.

Although the revenue of Google’s cloud computing business increased significantly in the fourth quarter of last year, the gap is still obvious compared with Amazon’s cloud computing business.

In terms of revenue, Google Cloud Computing’s revenue in the fourth quarter of last year was only 34.4% of Amazon’s revenue in the third quarter of last year, or slightly more than one-third.
