Ericsson and Vodafone have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for collaboration in the corporate social responsibility initiative of key information and communication technology (ICT) education programs in Oman. Work together to align with national and global sustainable development goals and support efforts to achieve Oman’s vision for 2040.
This agreement will focus on utilizing Ericsson’s Connect To Learn program to enhance the development of digital skills, including programs aimed at cultivating and attracting young people and talents from Oman to enter the ICT industry.关键信息和通信技术 的图像结果
The two companies will also focus on different areas where young people in Oman can benefit from Ericsson’s global education programs, such as Ericsson Education, and gain different learning experiences through Ericsson’s extensive education program portfolio.
Fahad Al usaidi, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Vodafone Oman, stated, “Vodafone is committed to utilizing sustainable technologies and practices to make positive contributions to Oman’s environment, society, and economic structure. Since launching CSP trial operations in Oman in 2021, Ericsson has successfully partnered with Vodafone Oman as its core network supplier. The two companies are collaborating to provide the most advanced 5G independent network, while enhancing Vodafone’s wireless access network (RAN) and transmission capabilities. In addition, they will also develop cloud native 5G infrastructure and microservices architecture.
