Nokia announced that Empyrion Digital, a leading digital infrastructure provider in Asia, will deploy Nokia’s data center gateways and aggregation switches in its newly opened data center located in Gangnam gu, Seoul, South Korea.

Empyrion develops and operates data centers covering major cities in Asia, connecting and expanding the digital ecosystem for hyper scale cloud service providers and enterprise hosting companies. With the continuous growth of data traffic in Asia, digital infrastructure providers are facing enormous pressure to provide consistently high performance.

Nokia’s industry-leading IP network solutions include the 7250 IXR interconnect router as a data center gateway and core network switch, and the 7210 SAS business access system as an Empire IT system access switch. With this solution, Empyrion will get a more reliable, scalable and efficient data center internet.
