Recently, the Global Telecommunications Management Forum (TM Forum) announced the results of the Digital Transformation World Series 2020 selection. The “5G Green Communication” catalyst project jointly initiated by China Telecom and ZTE and other partners won the “Outstanding Catalyst-Impact for Society” .

At the beginning of 2020, China Telecom and ZTE and other partners have jointly established the TMF “5G Green Communication” catalyst project team to discuss the sustainable development of 5G. Combining its deep technical accumulation and commercial practical experience, ZTE has in-depth communication and close cooperation with the expert team of the China Telecom Group Cloud Network Operation Department and the AI R&D Center of China Telecom Research Institute to apply AI technology to the 4G/5G network for collaborative energy conservation and complete the network deployment verification. In July 2020, around the theme of “5G Green Communication”, sharing with business leaders and guests from all over the world and demonstrating the social value of AI energy saving after the successful deployment of Sichuan Telecom, the project was highly recognized and praised by TMF expert judges.
