According to Reuters, Amazon executives revealed that their cloud department has attracted thousands of customers to try out its services, competing with Microsoft and Google in key areas of artificial intelligence.
The company also announced new AI tools on Wednesday, including a plan to build more conversational customer service agents, technology access from startup Cohere, and a healthcare system for generating clinical records after patient visits.
It is reported that Sony, Ryanair, Yongming and other organizations have tried Amazon Bedlock. Amazon announced the launch of this service in April, allowing enterprises to use a series of AI models to create applications. Amazon Vice President Swami Sivasubramanian stated that this generation technology can generate new text, images, and other content based on commands.
Amazon Bedlock is Amazon’s response to Google and Microsoft’s AI services. The AI developed or sold by these two cloud competitors has attracted widespread public attention, such as ChatGPT and Bard Chatbot.
Amazon announced on Wednesday that it hopes to offer a wider range of AI models than its peers to win business, including acquiring updated technology from startups such as Antiopic and Stability AI. Amazon stated that its role as the largest revenue cloud provider – already hosting a large amount of customer data – also sets it apart.
