On December 7th, according to foreign media reports, cloud computing has developed rapidly in recent years. The revenue of Amazon, Google, Alibaba and other cloud computing businesses has continued to grow. Among them, Amazon’s cloud computing business revenue has been exceeded 10 billion US dollars for three consecutive quarters.
From the recent statement of Amazon’s cloud computing business CEO Andy Jassy, there are still only a small number of companies using cloud computing services, and cloud computing still has a lot of room for development.
Andy Jassy said that currently only 4% of enterprises in the world use cloud computing services, and the epidemic is accelerating the shift of large enterprises to cloud computing services.
In terms of the epidemic speeding up the shift of enterprises to cloud computing, Andy Jassy believes that the epidemic has brought certain difficulties, leading to bankruptcy of some enterprises, unemployment of employees, and large enterprises seeking to change, hoping that their applications can run in the cloud.
Only 4% of enterprises use cloud computing services, which means that there is still a lot of room for cloud computing. Driven by the accelerated shift of the epidemic to cloud computing, more enterprises will use cloud computing services. As the largest cloud computing service provider in the world, Amazon is also expected to gain more customers, and the customers of other cloud computing service providers are also expected to increase.
In terms of cloud computing, Amazon is currently far ahead in revenue, much higher than other vendors. In the last four quarters, Amazon’s cloud computing revenue reached 42.582 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 10.08 billion U.S. dollars year-on-year, and a year-on-year growth rate of 31%.
