Recently, Ericsson and Umniah signed a memorandum of understanding to expand 3G and 4G networks in major cities in the Jordan Hashemite Kingdom.
Ericsson will provide future oriented Ericsson wireless system products and solutions that can flexibly respond to constantly changing multi band and multi-layer technology needs. Expand the use of 10MHz spectrum, including 5MHz recombination from 3G to 4G and additional 5MHz acquisition, allowing for increased network capacity.
As it expands, network coverage will expand to other departments, providing 4G in areas where 4G is currently unavailable. The additional spectrum and upgraded infrastructure will enable Umniah to handle more data traffic and meet the growing demand for mobile broadband services and enhanced and faster connections.
