On May 17th, the 50th “World Telecommunications Day”, in Wujiang, Suzhou, which is famous for its optical cable and optical communication, is a national and global event. The two organizations once again attracted great attention and strong response from the whole industry.  On the afternoon of the 17th, “Suzhou Wujiang District Photoelectric Industry Science and Technology Association” (Wujiang Optoelectronic Industry Association) and “Yangtze Triangle Optoelectronic Industry Technology Workers Union” were formally inaugurated at the Wujiang District Administrative Conference Center.

As the first industrial association, Wujiang Optoelectronic Industry Association is under the direction of Suzhou Wujiang District Science and Technology Association and Suzhou Photonics Industry Chamber of Commerce. It is the field of Wujiang Optoelectronics Industry (optical cable, optoelectronic communication, optoelectronic device, photoelectric display). Enterprises, individuals and related units, institutions and enterprise science associations, the combination of open, hub-type, platform-based industry science associations, is the “home of the photoelectric industry science and technology workers.”

Vice Chairman of China Optical Society, former Vice President of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Professor Dean of the Graduate School, Professor Ren Xiaomin, Deputy Secretary General of China Optical Society Gu Bo, Zhang Jianping, Vice Chairman of Suzhou Association of Science and Technology Zhang Zhijun, Chairman of Wujiang District Science and Technology Association Shen Weifang, Vice Chairman Zhong Haitao  Wait for the leadership to attend.  Wujiang District Science and Technology Bureau, District Industry and Trade Bureau, District People’s Social Security Bureau, District Federation of Industry and Commerce, District Federation of Trade Unions and 8 towns/districts Associations, as well as relevant leaders of Suzhou University, Suzhou Vocational University, and Suzhou Private Technology Promotion Association.  The person in charge attended the meeting and was hired as a “consultant” of the Wujiang Optoelectronic Industry Association.
