Nokia announced that Nokia and SK Broadband have deployed a leased line network for South Korea’s hydroelectric and nuclear power plants (KHNP) to enhance data security. The deployment was completed in August 2024, enabling KHNP to protect its network from existing and emerging network threats, including quantum computing based network attacks.

Advanced network encryption technology to prevent complex network threats. The key technologies used in this project include Nokia’s transmission equipment, internet routers, and business access systems. Nokia’s Network Services Platform (NSP) also helps simplify network operations and management.
