Nokia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) announced that they had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch advanced wireless networks dedicated to enterprise parks in key areas across Indonesia. As part of the memorandum of understanding, Nokia’s private wireless solutions will be deployed in eastern and central Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan. This memorandum of understanding marks the common vision of IOH and Nokia to accelerate the digital transformation agenda in Indonesia.

This cooperation aims to improve industrial operation through highly reliable and low-latency connections through projects closely related to the government’s digital economy development plan. The advanced industrial network will promote the development of regions that are crucial to Indonesia’s economic growth. In a country composed of more than 17000 islands, the planned port solution will improve operational efficiency through advanced digital platform.
