Recently, Kingsignal (300252.SZ) officially announced that its newly developed Wi-FiMesh product MT1 was officially launched in Amazon North America. Previously, MT1 has attracted widespread attention in the industry by virtue of the detection of hotspot environments, MU-MIMO, LDPC error correction algorithms, Beamforming and other four advanced technologies, as well as the smallest size of similar products in the industry.
In recent years, for the general indoor home environment, high data demand services such as 4K / 8K high-definition video, AR / VR entertainment applications, and smart home have brought higher and higher data broadband requirements. Traditional single-point Wi-Fi is difficult to satisfy consumers who want high speed, low delay, and high reliability due to problems such as large wall penetration loss, poor coverage, low speed, easy dropout, and many blind spots.
With the development of mobile Internet, higher requirements are placed on the bandwidth and performance of home network equipment. Most of the routers in consumers’ homes are still running at 802.11n at 2.4GHz, and the theoretical maximum speed is 300Mbps, which cannot meet the need of high bandwidth and large area for seamless switching. Jinxinnuo–an innovator of signal connection technology, based on in-depth coverage solutions, fully investigate the domestic and foreign market needs, strive to balance between advanced technology and cost feasible, and create this small-size, large-coverage, high-stability and fine Wi-Fi Mesh product MT1.
In traditional routing, automatic signal switching needs to wait for the device to reconnect to the network, and the network speed is also significantly reduced. Wi-Fi mesh is an innovative Wi-Fi coverage scheme. Mesh is a mesh network, including a master route and several slave routes. Both the master route, the slave route, and the slave route can relay wireless signals to each other to expand Wi-Fi network coverage and enhance user experience, plug and play, easy deployment, and stable signal.
MT1 adopts the design of built-in high-increase PA chip and high-gain antenna, and its coverage range has obvious advantages over similar products. In the Mesh network, the Jinxinnuo R&D team has made several iterative optimizations on the software algorithm, the transmitter and the access. All devices on the terminal are managed in a unified manner. With the unified network name (SSID) and password convenience, it supports the 802.11k / v / r roaming protocol to achieve easy and seamless roaming.
MT1 detects the status of each channel in real time by detecting hot spots. The user can decide whether to switch to a better channel, so that the device can connect to a better Wi-Fi signal while moving. The device is within a few milliseconds networks. It can be completed and can be switched if you like. In addition, in order to improve the stability when the volume is as small as possible, the Kingsignal MT1 team has fully demonstrated the heat dissipation solution, adopting the upper and lower convection structure design, and using a large number of high-quality heat sinks and thermally conductive materials inside.
The MU-MIMO technology used by MT1 can realize the function of transmitting data to multiple users at the same time, make full use of the network bandwidth, and increase the entire network capacity. In addition, MT1 uses Beamforming technology to make the wireless signal form a beam with a specific direction in the direction of the user, significantly enhance the coverage effect, and apply the LDPC error correction algorithm to enhance the network anti-interference ability and a better user experience.
From 4G to 5G, it is aimed at the problem of signal coverage in high-value areas, which is also a key problem for 5G commercial solutions. Kingsignal deep coverage solution, through multi-technology joint networking, solves the problem of signal coverage in high-value areas in one fell swoop. By increasing the transmission distance and mobility of the wireless network, the MT1 ad hoc network mesh technology further helps Kingsignal to improve the deep coverage quality of the 5G network.
The Wi-Fi mesh distributed router first appeared in the United States in 2016. Once it came out, due to the lack of comprehensive coverage of domestic broadband infrastructure construction in developed regions such as Europe, the United States, and Australia, WiFi Mesh has rapidly gained indoor and remote areas with its own characteristics. The application has become the mainstream Wi-Fi coverage product in North America. In 2018, the annual sales in the United States exceeded 1.5 million units, and in 2019 it reached 2 million units, with a market growth rate of 30%. It is expected to reach 15 billion US dollars in 2025.
Although the country started late, Wi-Fi Mesh distributed routers appeared in the Chinese market in 2017, but after 2 years of market cultivation, they have become familiar to Chinese users. As of August 2019, the number of fixed-line subscribers in China has reached 439 million. With the speed-up of broadband operators, the future Wi-Fi Mesh market in China has huge space, and the router market has reached 100 billion.
The official launch of Kingsignal MT1 on Amazon is the official use of network channels to enter the overseas TO C market after MWC19. It will work with local operators to develop Kingsignal TO C products in the North American market. In China, Kingsignal also started the market synchronously. It is reported that in early 2020, MT1 had been successfully purchased by a domestic operator.
As an integral part of the company’s wireless product strategy, MT1 is the first basic Wi-Fi Mesh product of Kingsignal, and will continue to launch high-end products that support AC2200, AC3000 and Wi-Fi 6; in addition to home scenes, it will also launch Wi-Fi Mesh products for commercial scenarios to form a complete product sequence.
Facing the 5G era, Kingsignal will bring consumers the best experience terminal products through continuous technological innovation and program iteration, and successively launch smart terminals such as Wi-Fi Mesh and 5G CPE, and expand the layout of multiple intelligent terminals to achieve that the wireless product matrix can complement and merge with each other to create an all-round, mutually integrated personal technology experience for users.
